Elite Eyebrows & Makeup Studio was founded by Alex Lobos who has a passion for enhancing natural beauty. Our studio offers a variety of beauty services including
eyebrow rehab and shaping, all natural facial removal with threading, brow and lash tinting, brow lamination, lash lifts, makeup application and makeup lessons. We believe in providing personalized experiences and promoting timeless beauty.

How We Became Elite
Our Story
Alex finds joy in making art. She studied the fundamentals such as drawing, color theory, painting, rendering, design, and photography. When Alex transitioned into makeup, it unleashed an evolving obsession with fashion and beauty. Her makeup career began in Los Angeles, California, in early 2006. An art portfolio got her a job at her local MAC Cosmetics counter. She quickly learned makeup techniques from MAC pros. Shortly after, she studied esthetics to perfect her craft.
In early 2008, Alex became a licensed esthetician and was hired at Senna Cosmetics Makeup and Brow Studio. The prestige beauty establishment was founded by ‘The Original Brow Guru’ Eugenia Weston, a well-renowned Celebrity Makeup Artist who spawned the eyebrow industry and personally trained Alex on Senna’s signature brow techniques. Eugenia took notice of Alex’s natural talent and keen eye for color. She appointed Alex as a Senna Artist Trainer and recruited her as an assistant on the set of the Tonight Show. She was also assigned to work on photo shoots representing Senna Artistry. In late 2009, Alex positioned herself to launch her first makeup and brow bar with Beauty Collection in Malibu, California.
In early 2011, Alex moved to Texas and was sought out by Texas photographers upon her arrival. She has gained tenure in correcting challenged brows and creating flawless, Hollywood-inspired makeup looks. Her work has quickly gained recognition within the San Antonio community. Alex has graced the famous faces of Grammy Award-winning singer Vikki Carr, TV Personality Elizabeth Chambers and high fashion model Kokie Childers who campaigned for big brands like Nike, Levi’s, Lululemon, NARS and Vogue.
The Elite brand was born in 2018 from the inspiration of her work being described as such. Alex’s passion for art and beauty radiates through her graceful work ethic. She finds joy in pampering her clients and sharing beauty knowledge to all who sit in her chair. Her traditional approach to brows and makeup has won the trust of many beauty enthusiasts throughout the city of San Antonio. In a world where trends come and go, Alex stays true to her niche in classic beauty because it never goes out of style. We are excited to be furthering our mission of expanding the Elite family and serving those seeking a personalized, top notch beauty experience!
